Port of Seattle, Terminal 30 Upgrade
Seattle, WA
Port of Seattle decided to move cruise ships to Terminal 91 and redevelop Terminal 30 for use as a container facility. This required construction of a new 1,550 feet of apron for new 100-foot-gauge PPM high speed cranes.
Elcon’s electrical work included:
- Apron power for Cranes and Alternative Marine Power (AMP)
- Power for communication distribution systems
- Development of electrical construction phasing to ensure continuous operation of the yard
- New 26kV Seattle City Light Substation
- Coordination with Seattle City Light.
- New Reefer rack installation for 144 new Reefer outlets
