• The new 900kW, 480/277V generator supports 600 new slot machines and existing emergency loads. The existing 500kW generator was rewired to support existing hotel and future hotel expansion.
• Elcon designed the emergency distribution system with new automatic transfer switch (ATS), and tied to existing emergency loads and also tied to new and future loads.
• Elcon hired an architect, a structural and a mechanical engineer to support with the design of a new electrical room and a new generator room to house the new emergency generator.
• The new engine generator was installed in the new building on an inertia concrete pad with all mechanical equipment and structural supports for the silencer, muffler etc. A new 5,000 gallon double wall fuel tank was installed to replace the existing rusted fuel tank and support both generators.
• Elcon and Quinault Casino personnel inspected the unit as it arrived at the manufacturer’s representative in Kent, WA and witnessed all generator load testing per industry standards and commissioning of the unit at the site before acceptance.
