Port of Everett Rail/Barge Transfer Facility

The Port of Everett Rail/Barge Transfer Facility is a shipping terminal designed to transfer oversized aerospace cargo from ocean going barges to railroad transportation.
Elcon designed:
- A substation to provide 12.47kV electrical service to powerthe terminal’s new Rail Mounted Gantry Crane, on site Operations Building,
- 4,000 feet of underground utilities (duct banks and vaults) to route new powersupply lines for Snohomish County PUD
- Site security lighting
- Coordinated acquisition of telephone service for Verizon, Cable TV/Internet for Comcast, and fiber optic cables for Washington State Ferries and Port of Everett
- The underground utilities run from downtown Mukilteo to the Rail/Barge Facility with power and communications duct banks and vaults per all utilities requirements.
