Elcon designed a new 115kV/15kV transformer substation with provision for future extensions. Elcon prepared a detailed layout plan for an outdoor 115kV substation with
15kV outdoor type walk-in Metal Clad switchgear. Oil spill containment is included in the design. Elcon issued procurement specifications for 115kV circuit breakers, circuit
switcher, power transformer, disconnect switches, 115kV CT-PT and VT, and 15kV outdoor walk-in switchgear. Elcon performed design calculations for grounding grid design, bus-supports for 115kV and 15kV bus layout. Elcon also performed bid evaluation for the power transformer.
