ELCON was responsible for upgrading an existing 115kV/15kV outdoor substation by adding a new 115kV/15kV transformer, a 115kV circuit switcher, a 15kV bank two double bus extension with the addition of six outdoor feeder breakers, and 15kV disconnect switches.
The project also included a redesign of the existing grounding grid, as well as adding new chemical ground electrodes, cooper ground rods and grid.
