ELCON provided engineering and detailed design to replace relays for a 69kV line and bus tie, and upgrade associated control and SCADA system.
The old distance relays were replaced with new SEL 421 line relays and new Basler BE1-951Breaker Failure relays.
The Elcon team also modified the protection and control schematic to accommodate the new relay scheme.
