Transmission Line for Warm Springs Biomass Power Plant

ELCON is assisting Warm Springs Power & Water Enterprises in selecting the route of the transmission line and developing permits for an 18 MW Biomass Plant.
Aerial surveying has been completed, and ELCON is developing PLS CADD data files.
ELCON also will design the 795 kcm ASCR, 230kV line. The 230kV line construction will allow direct connection into the 230kV bus at Portland General Electric’s Round Butte substation.
It will provide additional capacity that may be used for future generation projects.
