Portland Streetcar Riverplace and
Gibbs Extensions

The double-track Riverplace extension starts from SW 5th Avenue and SW Montgomery to SW Riverplace. This extension includes a new roadway that connects the intersections of SW Naito/Harrison and SW Harbor Drive/SW River Parkway, which is known as the SW Harrison Connector Project.
The new roadway will occupy an existing right-of-way that is co-owned by ODOT and the City of Portland. The Gibbs extension is a dedicated single-track alignment along SW Moody Avenue to the aerial tram terminus at Gibbs Street.
