High Service Pumping System Improvements

ELCON provided electrical, instrumentation and controls system engineering and design for the upgrade pumping system. One existing high service pump was replaced with a new 450 HP, 2300 V motor. A new 2400V rated reduced voltage starter was provided for this motor. Another new 500HP, 480V high service pump was added as part of this project. A new VFD was provided for this pump, and an existing power distribution was modified to feed both these high service pumps.
